Wedding responsibilities - The Best Man

• Coordinates and oversees all ushers' activities and duties

• Coordinates all arrangements for wedding apparel (Hiring, collecting and returning)

• Organizes the stag night

• Arrange groom's gift from the ushers

• Arrange couple's gift from the ushers

• Attends all prenuptial parties

• Helps with honeymoon travel plans

• Helps groom to dress on his wedding day

• Drives groom carefully to ceremony

• Witnesses the marriage license signing

• Brings marriage license to ceremony

• On the day, arrange payments of bills as per the bride & groom's instructions

• If there is no organized transportation, drives bride and groom to reception

• Conducts "toast" to couple during reception

• Holds bridal ring until needed (or check the ring bearer has it safe)

• Assists groom with changing his clothes after ceremony
