• With the groom choose the wedding style, date and site

• With the groom and both of your families (if they are helping to pay) determine budget; including size and cost of wedding

• With the groom choose ceremony officiant and discuss ceremony style

• Choose the maid of honour or the matron of honour and the bridesmaids

• Choose wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses (may also assist in choosing groomsmen suits and ring bearer attire)

• Choose the flower girl's dress

• With the groom choose wedding invitations

• Choose the wedding flowers

• Plan and book honeymoon with groom

• Buy the groom's wedding ring

• Buy the groom's gift

• Stand in receiving line at reception

• Choose the music for the first dance

• Send out thank-you cards
