Oriental Butterflies |

Click image for downloadable fact sheet Joyce Evans 22.03.2008 | Cut a strip of black card to half the width of the red card and stick to the left hand side with DS Tape. Cover the centre join of the card with a gold peel off border Cut and emboss 6 sets of Butterflies, 3 each of red and black. Cut or punch three squares approximately 55 mm in size from Gold Mirri card. Stick the 3 squares to the card as in the illustration. Pair up the Butterfly shapes so that you have 2 with black as the base layer and one with red. In each case, the butterfly with the holes is the top layer. Stick the 2 black bases to the squares on the left of the card and one red base to the square on the right. IMPORTANT - stick the butterflies down by the body only so that the wings can stand up a little. Carefully position the top layer of each butterfly over the base and, as before, only stick the body down. If liked, blobs of Silicone Glue can be placed under the wings of the butterflies to keep them upright. Finally, choose some motifs from the Oriental peel off sheet and apply.

Glamour Girl Sandal card |

Click image for downloadable fact sheet Sam Carter 28.02.2008 | Stick the sandal paper to the front of the card. I also covered the aperture and then cut out the centre and glued back the flaps. Trim off any excess. Attach a co-ordinating card into the aperture; I used one from my Sally Scrap pack. Stick a co-ordinating ribbon down the left hand side of the card (leaving a small gap), attach metallic brads at intervals. Tie the sandal charm to the ribbon and attach to the card using removable glue, that way the charm can be easily removed without ruining your card! Print out Happy Birthday in a co-ordinating colour and layer it until you are happy. If you don’t have a printer you could use peel offs. The edges of the layering card have been edged with pink and pale green ink from the Shimmer pad. Attach a chipboard from the tin with a brad and you are ready to put your greeting inside!

Glamour Girl Handbag card |

Click image for downloadable fact sheet Sam Carter 31.01.2008 | Stick the handbag paper to the front of the card. I also covered the aperture and then cut out the centre and glued back the flaps. Trim off any excess. Attach a co-ordinating card into the aperture, I used a scrap that I found in my stash, also attach a strip along the bottom of the card. Select 3 handbag chipboards from the tin an layer them onto pink card. Ink the edges with pale blue ink. Attach these to the card with double sided tape. Squeeze a small dot of pink liquid pears in between the bags to add definition. Tie the handbag charm onto a piece of ribbon and attach to layered pink and white card. The white card was edged with pale pink ink and the pink card edged with pale blue. If you stick the charm down with a removable glue dot then it will be easy to remove. Stick on ‘I love Bags’ also from the Glamour chipboard tin and again highlight the corners with pink liquid pearls.

Click image for downloadable fact sheet Sam Carter 31.05.08 | Stick the Charcoal paper to the front of the card. I also covered the aperture and then cut out the centre and glued back the flaps. Trim off any excess. Attach white card into the aperture, I used a scrap of Stardream that I found in my stash. Layer the Dragonfly with white and black card and attach to the centre of the card aperture. Gently brush the edges of the large blossom with a Sakura Silver Stardust pen, this gives a lovely sparkle when it catches the light. Layer the blossoms and then attach with the black brads. Print out your birthday greeting in gold and layer with the gold and black card. Make a sparkly trail from the tail of the dragonfly with gold and silver liquid pearls.
